ADULTS' BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU CLASSES
Improve your fitness and strength with Jiu Jitsu
In addition to improving your fitness and self defence skills, Brazilain Jiu Jitsu helps develop a sense of confidence and self esteem, strengthens self-discipline, teaches patience, problem-solving, and adaptability.
Anyone who wants to try Brazilain Jiu Jitsu is welcomed at Mount Maunganui Jiu Jitsu, and classes are designed to facilitate learning at every level.
We offer both mixed Adults classes as well as women’s only classes – please refer to our timetable for the class schedules. Our classes are structured to include a jiu jitsu style warm-up, position tutorial and sparing which is catered to all experience levels. You will be continuously challenged and pushed to better yourself.
WANT TO COMPETE?
Most students at Mount Maunganui Jiu Jitsu learn for fitness and other benefits, but there is a small team of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu students who work together to train for regional and national competitions.
